Results to Whats been going on !!!

Jackie's Surgery was scheduled for 11am this morning . We all managed to get there in time to see him before hand . As terrified as he was he didnt show it . Anyways they didnt actually get him back to do his surgery untill 1:30 today . From what we understand about this , The doctor came out and told the family at 8:30 that they did get all of the tumor out . It was between the folds of the brain which made it a little easier to get to . They said it was a very large (size of a fist ) tumor and all were a bit worried . The doctor also informed us that the next 3 days was very critical time for him . Please keep him and our family in your prayers . We are far from outta the woods with this but with faith god and love of our friends I do believe he will pull out of this . I also wanted to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time in our lives . There are no true words to express how much each and everyone of you mean to us for this . I would appreciate this very much if we could keep praying for him to fully recover and get back to his wife , son , and family . We are planning on going back to UAMS this weekend to check in and to see about him . Anyways THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and most of all THANK YOU GOD for hearing our cries .

Now about my Dad, He is suposed to be going back to Little Rock , Friday for more test . I am praying and begging god that his Cancer has not come back . I am hoping to have more results of his test soon , The doctor has put a rush on all of this . So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers also . They are greatly appreciated . Done done and done....... Step outside find a flower and take in a deep breadth of its aroma. I have found it to be very soothing at times, and it can temporarily ease your mind.

Glad all went well with the sugery and pray for all.

The family called today and said, Jackie was awake. He was talking, and acting normal. still has all normal functions. Everything is looking great so far.

I pray quick recovery and also that everything goes well for your dad. My dad goes in on Monday for a catscan to see hwo the chemo has been working on his cancer.

They havent actually said his cancer is back but my dad goes in too monday for the C Scan . I have all Faith that its not back . but lets pray .

Ok there was a little set back yesterday he started having seizures nothing bad we kinda expected it the doctor told us it would more then likely happen . His wife was instructed not to take him out to smoke anymore . Dad called me today he went to Little Rock to have the test done . He said when they got up there the doctor checked his blood surgars . They were 350 or better anyways said he couldnt do the test because his blood sugars had to be atleast 137 . so they canceled his appointment and his other appointment for after the test . They got almost home and the doctor called and said that he needed him back at the hospital on Thursday because he is going to do a biopsy . He has to be there at 6 am for the test and we wont find anything out till Monday . So I guess we are back to the waiting game again . Anyways just trying to keep you guys updated on whats going on . Prayers continuing, Christie...

We have truely been blessed ! Yesterday I recieved a phone call that Jackie is comming home . He made it home fine and so far so good . I havent gone over to see him yet because I didnt want to push him to hard on his first day home . Mom called this morning apparently dad had his C Scan yesterday and the doctor called this morning to say everything was great . his Lymphoid were normal size that if they had been enlarged that they would have to do the biopsy . He said NO CANCER !!!! I just wanted to share the good news with you guys and to thank you so much for all of your prayers and thoughts . Thanks again Loves hugs n kisses Christie

good luck , the waiting for word from the doctors can put u on the edge for sure ,
