Mini Reunion

This past Friday I had the privilege to attend a mini Biker Haven reunion.
Jamie(jpierce575) and Indie Pierce, Jerry And Kathy Dishon(Jedishon),Kathy and I, and Bruce(Alabamawing) all met at a local steakhouse for dinner.
Jamie and Indie were on their way back from a vacation in New Orleans. Jerry moved to Alabama several years ago and I embarrassed to say this is the first time I have met him and Kathy. Bruce is on crutches after another knee surgery.
Tommy (Haste Maker)and Carolyn Brown hosted Jamie and Indie in their home during their trip down earlier in the week.that was nice of them.
Made me wish for the old Brotherhood of the Haven  to be back together. Life is too short for petty things to breakup such a good group.
Just wanted to update my status and plan to check back here more often, hoping to find a few more returnees.

Exactly. We had a great thing going there for a while.

the biker haven is a super cool site , If I ever made anybody on this site not want to come to the haven for a chat , forgive me , and come back , if its something else , get over it and let the haven fun begin, thanks gary for shareing the mini haven get together , had the pleasure of meeting you and bruce , ,

It was good to meet up with you guys again and a pleasure to finally meet Jerry and Kathy.  Thank you for the invite as we had not really thought of meeting anyone except Tommy and Caroline, and that was a last minute thought.

On to other things, I have to say that what happened here a few years is not the only reason I have been absent.  With the further use of Facebook I find myself not frequenting any of the forums any more, not just here.  It is not anything that anyone here did to me personally, just mainly lack of time on my part because I spend more of my off hours on Facebook than anywhere else.

Jerry said he was unable to log on, is there anything we can do to fix that?  

If Jerry cant log on let's get it fixed.

I wasn't sure what to mark for gender ... after the whole Bruce Jenner thing. Hey Jerry .... does your wife still wrestle gators???

I'll forward the info to Jerry,slowly they come. Maybe there is still hope to get it going again in here.

It was good to meet everyone. It's funny how everyone looks like their online pictures. Guess they are only different for dating sites.

Len, I have looked for Dee in the past with no luck. After reading your post I checked again. Found his mug on Facebook. Sent him a message and friend request. I will let you know if I hear from him. I'll try to get him back here also.
After Bruce, Dee, Doc, were some of the first Haveners I was able to meet.

That's as close to talking to him as we have been .... I hope I didn't cause him to leave. There was a lot of stuff going on back then ... to be honest ... I don't remember a lot of it .... and I am glad.
