Opinions Please ...

The old truck runs great ... a little "wandering" on the road but all in all it is in unbelievable shape. There is some surface rust on the hood but the body is solid. I was going to have the hood sand blasted but several buddies have said to scuff the hood and clear it. They say DO NOT change the look of the truck ... keep it original. A couple other friends have said to paint the whole truck back to original. What say you gents???

I say leave it like it is and clear coat it.  Down the road if you change your mind you can still paint it but, if you paint it now, you will never have the patina back that you have now.  My

Law Man you decided what you are going to do with that truck yet?  

Yeah .... I am going to have the hood sand blasted cause the rust that you see in the picture scares me. I will spray an epoxy on the hood to seal it and leave the rest of the truck original. I figure back in the day whoever owned her would have fixed it. The kid I bought it from was going to paint the whole truck. He didn't really know what he had.

sweet looking truck like she is , rust on hood not good , maybe like you said , put a good fix on it and enjoy don't forget to put Law Dog on the doors ,
