Re: Not a good day.
I'll give you $300 for the Triumph to help out an OLD friend ... that way you can get one of these to fix the Tahoe:

Man, I hate it when I break something I don't have the ability to fix myself.

ya man , freaken motor on my wood splitter took a dump today , the sorry old engine and splitter has had some hard miles befor it was givin to me , darn thing still wants to run , but the crank or rod broke the case and it was making a bunch of noise , its junk , neightbor stopped by a month ago and gave me a old 50ton electricc hydro pump with a self contained pump , it came off a old press with a short cycl , the wood splitter would need more oil with the longer ram , haven't got a clue on how to convert this over and run my wood splitter , any ideas would be much welcomed joe or any 1 that sucks wes when ya break them case harden screws are hard to remove , when I worked for buick in the crank deptment ,, I use to be a repair man for getting out broken drills bits out of the crank shalf oil galley holes , we use to have a burning machine , looked like a big drill press , but it was a burning rod that was suppose to burn the broken drill bit out , some we couldn't save , sorry about that , I know I hate it when that happens

Re: Not a good day.
Sorry Trip. I know the frustration.
I broke two seals on my Kaw water pump ($28 each) before finally giving up and taking it to the shop. Haven't seen the bike in 2 weeks and haven't ridden it in a month. Pissing me off.

Re: Not a good day.
I understand the frustration. My Hoe was in the shop over night. Took the mechanic two hours to get the broke bolt out without pulling the axle and adjusted the emergency brake while in there. I think I got out cheap at $100.Simpleman77 wrote:Sorry Trip. I know the frustration.

Re: Not a good day.
100 bucks was well worth it , its right now , all ya got to do is get in it and go , I work on a lot of junk around here , but this last year i'v been taking our truck to the local repair shop for all the fixing , my son useally works on it for me , but he is way to busy with his job , so I try not to bother him , makes me mad , I use to do all my own wrenching , bad back made it to hard to move like a monkey anymore , I still look like a monkey and act like 1 , but don't move like 1 ,
