Sooooooooooo...Gubmint Shutdown
Anyone here gonna be adversely affected? I hate it for the honest govt workers and contractors who will be losing out on a paycheck whilst these asshat politicians play around with our country but I love that this may show even more that can be cut from the bloated over sized government that exists now.

My daughter may get laid off for a while. She is an attorney in the defense department. Not sure exactly what she does ... I'm not allowed to know ... She was furloughed 1 day a week because of the sequester cuts ... but that gives her more time with the boys.

Shouldn't but not sure. I say shut it down and see what happens. It will hurt some but will also cut a bunch of waste.

Re: Sooooooooooo...Gubmint Shutdown
Over 51% of Americans are on some type of government hand out. Once you start getting "free stuff" (which is actually stuff that we are paying for) then are you going to vote for some one that says we can't afford to give you free stuff? We are done till the free stuff and money run out ... then it gets ugly for a while ...

Government Shut down means those puckers at the Hill (dems/reps) are the one that shouldn't get paid instead of the people that actually works. Term Limits is the only answer to this mess that we are in. I believed that you can not teach an old Dog new tricks, especially them DOGS at the hill

I agree pm , its not only the poor and unemployed and with wages hitting rock bottom , its all the free money that's heading across the pond , the hand outs to all the mega businesses , oil being 1 of this cheating no good group , are being paid billions by our tax dollars , if were gonna give hand outs , it should start at home
