I wanted to paint the rack black before I mounted it.

Now that I am getting the trunk, I hope to get the fairing, bags and trunk all painted to match the bike.

I also have a run-brake light I bought from Stumble I am going to mount on the trunk

I am curious to see the final product. Paul gave me his original (I think) trunk. It got a little smashed up in shipping but the lights still work. Looks pretty cool.

Congrats on the trunk and florboards. Those are great gifts. No matter what the size of bags, they're always just a wee bit too small.

what brand of floorboards JD?? and be sure to mount that trunk on a rack that supports it trust me.....otherwise the bottom will crack.....I know thats whay Im on my second (larger) trunk

the floor boards ar the universal mini from j and p cycle. Gonna try to build something for the trunk

Same trunk I have. I just used a standard luggage rack as a mounting platform. Worked fine.
