Mama T's Yard Sale !!!!

We have all worked soo hard getting this set up and ready to open ! As for today it was nothing at all what we expected . Had a very busy day ! Tomorrow we are still praying for . We mannaged to bring in today 1900.00!!!! how awesome is that ? Had a minor issue with a lady who was apparently high on something . she didnt want to pay 11.50 for 3 bags of clothes . and when the girl checking her out looked at me I said no . she got a lil pissy and showed her butt . Some words were exchanged and I was sitting at the far end of our tables when she thought she was coming around the end of it . i stood up and she stepped in to me I pushed her back and said I dont think you want to do this . she started mouthing me . I said no we arent going to do this . you need to get your bags and leave she started ranting about she wasnt leaving without her son I said look get you bags your kid and just leave . she just wouldnt let up . I finally had to yell at her GET YOUR SHIT AND GET OUT BEFORE THINGS TURN UGLY! Needless to say she left her poor mama was soo embarrassed ! When we got the money counted for tonight Teresa started crying all she kept saying are you kidding me ! I told her we are going to have to be prepared for tomorrow cause we are staying as long as it takes ! Just goes to show with God and Determination , great friends and lots of love anything is possible . I am currently working with the guy from the news paper covering our story ! She wouldnt tell him what kinda person she is and how much she does for these kids . Her job is a never ending job !

I do try , Me and JD went back tonight because a guy wanted to donate some stuff , got the trailer unloaded and him and his wife who is also caitlynnes coach at school bought some stuff . She said it was amazing at all the stuff people donated . and couldnt believe the work us girls were doing for her . I told her it wasnt because we wanted the grace of it all but we wanted her to know we love her and would do many great things to help her . I talked to the news paper guy for 30 mins or so . I told him There are many things Teresa will not tell him like the kinda person she really is , how with out this surgery death was a giving . how she never asked for any help . But how when she needed it there were were . There are 9 of us always there always doing for her . But that Teresa wasnt the blessed one we were ! Anyways its 10pm here and i gotta get up by 4 to go get that stuff restocked and ready for the opening !!!

Todays total was 2,689.00 !!!! How freaking awesome are we ??? We still have a cook book in the mist of being printed and a cook out to go ! To see her almost cry was very touching . and most of you that have met me know it takes alot to do that . As things were winding down I asked her what she wanted us to do . do we do another sale or give it to the gurdon girls ? I am like her there is something up with them they cant be trusted . But anywhoo we talked we are donating unsold items to Red River which gives clothes away to familys in need . the Humain SS, cause them animals have needs too ! and the Behive because they put so many of the special needs people to work and also gives them a lil spending money . Now tell me that isnt one awesome lady !!!!
