What a wife!!!!

Sorry guys ... but I have the best wife ever ... hands down the best! She bought me a 1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Slant Back for out 38th anniversary!!







Picking her up on Saturday. Not show worthy ... yet ...

It is the only thing I have found that is older than Bill and trash!!!

that is one sweet looking ride len , i don't quite go back that far , but i could of bought a late 30's car like that in my late teens , it was 500 bucks back then , and ran good , wished i would of done the deal now , there priceless now , enjoy it , and thank the LORD for giving you a great mate ,

Been spending some garage time with the 37 ... man that feels like going home again. There are a lot of little things to take care of but the main issue is wiring! The past 78 years have not been kind to it ... brittle, cracked, and lots of bare spots. I found a guy about 12 - 15 miles from home that has every chevy part you can imagine for the 20's through the 40's. He sold me a complete wire harness. I am about halfway through installing it. Once that is done I have to fix the parking brake and she should be road worthy. I am looking for that shake down cruise.

For a shake down cruise you could cruise down here and take me for a ride.  I'll even spring for lunch.

a trip to trips house , no more then 35 mph , better pack a couple of lunches ,

School has its ups and downs taking microbiology and physics this semester...both kinda tough..next semester I am supposed to take intro to Sociology the academic ad visor didn't think it was too funny when I said I don't want to be a socialist.

Thanks guys! We finished rewiring everything yesterday and when we tested it the darn light switch is bad. I'm going to pick one up tomorrow night. My plates are due this Friday so if we can get some decent weather we will take her for a spin. Parts wise all I think I need to find are wiper transmissions, but since they were an option back in 37 I don't have to have them. Ray ... you know how I suck at wiring ... that was a real chore.

one thing you got going with your vintage car , they were simple back then and easy to fix , glad ya got the wiring done lenny , good luck on your maiden vorage ,

you know len, the more i think of it and look at the picture the more i think maybe you should not drive it.


it looks a lot like the car bonnie and clyde got shot in............

When you take your wife out for a night on the town in that incredible car, I hope you dress for the part. That is no jeans and t shirt dating car. At least get a cool hat from the era.
