Been a long time

Hello everyone. It has been a long time since I have stopped by here. Been super busy with work as always and family.
My parents moved in with us so we can help my mom care for my dad. He has a rare degenerative disease that has no cure and was given only about 6-12 months. That was a few months ago. He is unable to do much on his own and needs 24 hour care giving. So a lot of our time is now helping my mom with my dad.
Haven't really been on many rides except for back and forth to work. Hard to ride with all that is going on. My youngest and I did go do the Oyster Run this year. We braved the rain and wind and decided to go. It was some nice mother daughter time. My husband sold his bike to help pay some bills and will get another one later. HE wouldn't really be able to ride much right now as he hurt his knee at work.
I have around 85k miles on the bike now. So I am still putting some miles on the bike. Had a really nice summer here for riding. Not much rain. But the rain has returned and so has the wet riding.

Glad to see you are still around Monica.  Sorry to hear about all you are having to go through.  I can see those hard times coming my way soon but am blessed so far.
