Friday Night Lights.

Off to see the #1 ranked 5A Hartselle Tigers play football.
It's Hayden's senior year and I will miss it when it's over. We hope they can win a state championship this year, but if they don't it's been a blast.

just got home from our friday night game. the score was 71 to 40. highest scoring game i've ever called. bet we had over 20 plays that covered more than 50 yards. makes for a couple of sore knees.

Man , I know you are tired after all that running. I am on the chain gang at the home games and it will wear you out on a night like that.

#1 Hartselle defeated #4 Russellville 24-14 in the 3rd round of the playoffs. They ran their record to 12-1 and take on Briarwood Acadamy next week in a final four game.
We are one win from playing the championship game at the Auburn field on Dec. 2.

wish hayden luck from us. i guess we are done for the year. kinda sad to put the equipment up for another year, but the knees are sure ready.

We are in the semi-finals tomorrow night. #1 Hartselle vs #2 Briarwood Acadamy in Hartselle. Temps at kickoff 34 degs. Should be a great night to kick some butt. Hayden's senior season, so this is his last chance at a state championship in football.

Well, we went down to the wire with a 21-24 loss in overtime. The boys were heart broken and a few parents also. They had a great season 12-2 and its time to turn the page and take another step in life. Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone.
Baseball starts in Feb. and after being runner-up last year there is still hope for a championship his senior year.

Tell the boy to keep his head up and be proud of a great year!!!

When Fossett had to leave the game because of the hip flexor? injury, we had our work cut-out but Hartselle kept fighting! Hayden had a great Senior year to finish at 12-2 and go as deep into the State Playoffs.

Congrats on a great season Gary. That's tough to get so close. But the journey had to be awesome.
