Saw my dad today

This weekend our church had a men's retreat in the area about an hour from us. My dad had his first chemo Tuesday, then he had chemo during the night at home. HE also had stronger chemo Thursday and Friday. With all that chemo he felt good enough to travel across the mountains and stop off here before heading to the retreat. the girls and I were going to watch their dogs so they dropped them off. It was about a 3-4 hour drive from their home to ours. My dad looked really good and was feeling pretty good, just really tired. Today they had regular church up there so we all went to church. After my parents fallowed us and we stopped to have some lunch. It was really good to see him up and about and feeling better so far this time around than last time. Next weekend we will go over to visit them and help them with a few things.
Thanks for the prayers all!! I know they sure work and they appreciate any and all prayer they can get.

That's great to hear he's feeling well enough to get out and about. He must be one tough cookie.
