we went to fl maybe 4 years straight for the winters , wife was still working and I was retired, she would transfer down to fl for 6 months and back up here in mi. the other 6 months , then she fell and broke her shoulder , we came home and had to quit going , now that we have been here for a few winters again , it just don't seem right to be any where else but in my home state , my own home , etc.

Guess I'm the lucky one. Florida is not that far away and I have a place to stay when I get there. We go down four or five times a year.

makes a big diff when your a hop and a skip from fl , we have 3 days of being couped up in a truck to make the trip normaly , have done it in 2 days , with not much rest , , I would never make a good truckertrip wrote:Guess I'm the lucky one.
