Call me a light weight. Headed to Winston Salem early tomorrow morning and if it wasn't going to be in the low 20's I would ride.  About a 3.5 hr. trip.

Buhahahaha. I won't ride for any length of time when it's below 45 and not unless it's BACA business. Pleasure riding, I won't pull the bike out unless it's above 60 and gonna stay there.

I used to ride 22 miles back and forth to work in as low as 24 degrees, but I would not make a long trip in that weather. It's just too cold.

I rode a 61 Harley from Pittsburgh one Thanksgiving. Left Pittsburgh at 40* and by thr time I got home it was 27* ... snowing ,, an inch of ice and slush on my pant legs ... worst ride of my life ...

I have ridden to work at 18 deg. but it was only 15 miles. Don't want to go much further at that temp.
