I have a chance to pick up an 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS with 36k miles for $10k. Perfect body and interior. Been parked in a garage for about 10 years. Thinking about it as an investment but these things are expensive to work on.

Sounds like alot of fun, BUT possibly a money pit. If you want the car to work on AND keep, then go for it. The market might be real soft for them right now. Good luck. Post a pic when you can.

I was ready to pull the trigger untill I found the bottom of the doors rusted behind the paint. It's a no go.

Would have been a cool project if it had not been for the corrosion. Way to dodge a bullet Wes.

Wise decision. That tells you alot about the maintenance. It might have been a northern car and underside might be in pretty rough condition.
