Sexting Search Warrant: Murrysville Teacher Sought 'Orgy' With Student

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. -- A search warrant in a "sexting" investigation said a Murrysville-area high school teacher offered a male student money for a picture of his genitals and wanted the student to join in an "orgy."Murrysville police and officials in the Franklin Regional School District last week confirmed the investigation and said the teacher, Terry Flaherty, is on paid leave from the school.According to the search warrant, Flaherty offered to forgive a $100 debt in exchange for the student's cell phone photo.

Police said the teacher apologized in another text, saying he was intoxicated when he sent the first message.Details uncovered by Channel 11 News reporter Alan Jennings confirm Murrysville police detectives have served search warrants on both AT&T and Verizon, demanding all text messages and pictures sent to the student by Flaherty.Neighbors said Flaherty would often have parties with teenagers at his home on Pheasant Drive."The past two weekends there's been parties, cars lined up, younger people going in and out of the house," said the neighbor.
