How about soccer-moms in red Chrysler mini-vans that are busy yelling at their kids while on their cell phone and turn left illegally in front of a biker who winds up stopping the mini-van with his body, thus ruining his riding season, his beloved bike and his life and finances, in general? Can we please get rid of her, too?

No loss of life, mind you, with my crash. I'm still here, typing, but looking at 2 surgeries in the New Year...

I feel HORRIBLE about what happened to those poor riders. I'm sure that some of you can understand. I lost a buddy to a bike crash when I was 25.

But, something HAS to be done about inattentive driving with injury/loss of life. Something more severe.

granted it not just the drunks that need all the attention , we got the heavy speeders rolling down the roads slasehing in and out of traffit , cutting people off or running them off the roads to save there asses , its getting to be a crap shoot out there when u leave the house in a car or bike ,

something needs to be done to disable cell phones in a moving vehicle. If you need to call, pull over. Goes for passengers too, maybe it will keep drivers attention on the road and force families to....wait for it......actually TALK to each other!
