Sunday Mornin' Hope : Twas the night.. Biker style

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the grage

Not a car or bike was stirring, not even the Dodge

The stock pipes were hung by some stock seats with care

In hopes that some newbie soon would be there

The new pipes and seats were hid in the shed

Maybe the old ones would sell before the bank statement was read



I in my chaps And mamma in her leathers

Had just got ourselves ready for a ride in cold weather

When out on the driveway there arose such a rumble

I jumped from the couch, over the dog I did stumble

Away to the garage I searched for a prowler

Looking high and low for almost an hour.



I flipped the bikes headlights on, LED's and such

But starting all the bikes seemed a bit much.

There was a VTX, a Goldwing and Vulcan up front

an Ultra, Volusia, an old beemer that to start made me grunt

With nothing in the garage I threw up the overhead door

That's when I saw him and I knew something special was in store



I recognized Him right away and everyone said "Awe!"

In my driveway was a manger with fresh packed straw

Lights and angels filled the sky that night with love

Exploding the atmosphere brilliantly with songs from above

Looking around and seeing many who knew who He was

This was not Santa but the true meaning for the season Jesus
