I'd say Welcome and watch all these guys pretty close. I just want your money. So can buy a real cool car like Leon's got. He promised to do the wiring on it.

It actually runs Dino ... The motor is hurt pretty bad but I have a 1954 235 Corvette Blue Flame that is rebuilt and ready to drop in. Maybe this winter.

Re: Welcome sdwarriorfit!
don't know whatever happened to the 54 Vette but the motor is gonna sound sweet with the dual carbs and split manifold I have ready. My goal is to stay almost stock but make her a hot rod from back in the day with stock parts.

Re: Welcome sdwarriorfit!
It has a 216 inline 6 in it now Billy ... the 1954 Vette motor is a 235 inline 6 ... should bolt right up ... God willing and the creeks don't rise. The 216 is only around 85hp when it is running right. The 235 Vette motor is around 165hp. Not a race car ... but better than what I have now.

Re: Welcome sdwarriorfit!
If I remember right, the 1954 Vet was only sold in Canada as a test market sports car...then sold in the US in 1955 with a 265 V8..actionpack wrote:learn something new everyday , didn't no they put a straight 6 in a vet , your right on lenny , good luck with your project , sounds like fun to me ,

Re: Welcome sdwarriorfit!
If I remember right the 53 was the first sold in the US. The 53 and 54 were the same. The 53 and 54 both ran the 235 Blue Flame 6. I researched the numbers on my 235 and they say it came from a 54.
